* NICE : The City is nicknamed Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the Title of the Unofficial Anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912. The natural bBauty of the Nice Area and its mild Mediterranean Climate came to the attention of the English upper classes in the second half of the 18th Century, when an increasing number of Aristocratic Families took to spending their winters there. The City's main seaside promenade, the Promenade des Anglais ('Walkway of the English') owes its name to Visitors to the Resort. For dDcades now, the Picturesque Nicean Surroundings have attracted not only those in search of relaxation, but also those seeking inspiration.
* TOULOUSE : Toulouse is the Centre of the European Aerospace Industry, with the Headquarters of the Airbus Group (formerly EADS), the Galileo Positioning System, the SPOT Satellite System, ATR and the Aerospace Valley. It also hosts the European Headquarters of Intel and CNES's Toulouse Space Centre (CST), the Largest Space Centre in Europe. Thales Alenia Space, and Astrium Satellites also have a significant presence in Toulouse. The University of Toulouse is one of the oldest in Europe (founded in 1229) and, with more than 103,000 Students, it is the Fourth-largest University Campus in France, after the universities of Paris, Lyon and Lille.
